Listening to Auraria’s Past is a collaborative project with faculty and community members designed to share the history of the Old Westside neighborhood of Auraria, in Denver, Colorado. The current Auraria campus was built in the 1970s through the razing of this neighborhood and the displacement of over 300 families. This project works in collaboration with displaced residents and their descendants to tell their history and stories through an audio walking tour of the neighborhood.

Listen to the audio tour or learn more about the history of Auraria. Contact Dr. Rachel Gross for more information about the project.
